Workout Log XXXV
Sep. 4th, 2014 11:15 amWhew! The hotness was in full effect last night.
Warm-up
Our choice:
1750 meter row
1 mile run (my choice - I maintained a pretty good pace, but didn't catch my time - somewhere around 11 minutes?)
50 burpees
Strength
Squats, 6 sets of 4 at 80% of my max. Since I have no idea of what that may be, I warmed up with a set at 20 kg, a set at 40 kg, and then did six sets at 49 kg - 108 lbs! That is the most I've done (helped by the fact that I didn't have to clean and press the weight overhead to get it on my back).
MetCon
Another choice!
1) 4 rounds (with a 15 minute cap) of:
50 double-unders (I counted attempts - I'm terrible at this currently. I think I got 4 successful DUs total. Time for more practice!!!)
9 dumbbell snatches (I used35lbs 30lbs - checked my journal and realized I did the lighter weight)
5 pull-ups
I finished 3 rounds. If I was better at DUs, I might have finished. :)
2) 12 minutes EMOM of:
odds: 150 m row
evens: 10 goblet squats
